My first love. I met him 9 years and 1 day ago. He swept me off my feet. I was young and he was running free still. I should have known then that he was seeing and living with someone else as well as me but I was a student and worked two jobs and only 18. He married one the women that he was with while with me and if not for me finding out about his marriage I would have never married my husband and if his ex wife had taken him back he would have never married me. I love my husband and I know he loves me but it’s different when we both know that our hearts always have secret deep love for someone else.</p> <p>My ex has always been that one deep love but life made different turns and we both realize that though we love and want each other so much, we both made vows and created a family with our spouses. It hurts so much because I want him in my life anyway possible but at the same time I hate him for marrying her and walking away from me and our daughter. I wanted to take him back but when I realized that our child was his little secret I couldn’t and stayed with my then boyfriend/husband.</p> <p>My husband raises my and my ex child as though she is his without anyone else knowing the truth in that matter. We all 3 came to that term years ago as my daughter is special needs and needs an everyday father. I have guilt over this. That guilt eats at me everyday and I think it also divides my husband and I.</p> <p>I don’t want to mess up my marriage we have 3 kids but I still love my ex still miss him everyday and still need him. I just don’t know why things wound up the way that they have. My marriage is a comfortable fit and our kids matter more than passion and deep love. I have a respect for my husband and much love. It is just that my ex has my heart and always will. I have this amazing love for him and we both agree that with no one else do we feel this way.</p> <p>I just don’t know why life happened for us the way that it did. I don’t mind the affair I just am worried that my heart truly can not take having the affair knowing that the life I want with him belongs to her and I belong to someone else. That is what kills me that is what makes me say stop don’t do it. I had to stop it 4 years ago because I was losing my mind. I know that to just see him may send my heart over the edge and cause it to break without ever touching him once because it already feels that way everyday.</p> <p>I try to suppress this love and I do give my husband my love and treat him with love. But we both know that we love someone else as well and it does take a toll on our marriage at times. I am afraid that if we begin again I will not be able to just have all of his love only part of the time. I believe that after 4 years of keeping him away I am going to want all of him and we both are not sure that we can tear apart our seemingly happy homes when we have kids. I never imagined my life this way. I don’t know why I had to fall in love with him and why no matter how hard I try I cant stop loving him.</p> <p>I am like two people at one time. I love my husband dearly and I am in love with my ex as though he never went away. Heartbroken everyday is my status for the last 7 years. Its not a joke its for real. Am I crazy for that or what? I know that no matter what decision I make I will be hurting something awful. More so than my partner. We both agreed from the start our relationship would be all about sex, nothing more. As we became more and more intimate he finally overstepped the line and fell in love with me. So our time together turned into him nagging me about leaving my husband and marrying him. He in fact gave me an ultimatum and that for the most part was the start of the end of our relationship.</p> <p>Fast forward to my current <strong>affair</strong> and we’re both head over heels in love. We’re both divorcing our spouses after the holidays are over and plan on getting married. As excited as I am about my husband to be I dread the thought I breaking the news to my current husband that I’m filing for divorce.
